The promotion of women's rights and LGBTQI+ rights holds a central and enduring position in our work both in Germany and internationally, and is a guiding principle within our organization. Despite undeniable progress in recent decades, much remains to be done to eliminate hierarchies and power imbalances. Discrimination, prejudice, and violence continue to characterize the lives of millions of women and LGBTQI+ individuals worldwide.

In Brazil, we support the empowerment of autonomous women's groups to monitor parliamentary agendas related to sexual and reproductive rights, and to strengthen access to and protection of biodiversity rights for women practicing traditional medicine. Additionally, we support campaigns and discussions on agroecology organized by women.
