Volunteer

Requirement profile:

  • Portuguese and fluent German (spoken and written)
  • Be interested in issues about international politics and relations with the civil society
  • Should have basic knowledge of Brazil (politics, economy, social issues)
  • Should have knowledge in some of the topics in which the Foundation is involved in Brazil: Human Rights, Gender and Sustainability (with focus on climate politics, energy, resources and agriculture)
  • Special interest in Gender topic

Job description:

  • Creation of weekly national press clipping with the main topics od Böll Foundation
  • Elaboration of researches on the internet for the direction and programa coordination (from Brazilian office)
  • To do several translations, according to the language skills (Portuguese, German and English)
  • Support to the communication department in content management of the H. Böll Foundation's website and social medias
  • logistical support for the conceptualization, preparation and management of visitor programs, events, conferences and workshops
  • Participation and elaboration of Foundation’s team meetings minutes
  • Participation of Foundation partner’s events (optional)
  • Articles and own researches elaboration, in agreement with the direction and the program coordination (optional)

Job characteristics:

  • 30 hours per week

Internship

Requirement profile:

  • Journalism student from second year (4th semester)
  • Fluent English
  • Good command of Microsoft Office;
  • Desirable knowledge of design programs
  • Interest in Human Rights and social-environmental justice
  • Interactive communication with social networks 

Job description:

  • Support the implementation of the entity's communication strategies
  • Texts, articles, news, interviews and videos production
  • Production of content and update social networks
  • Logical support for the publications producing process
  • Application metrics to measure results of communication actions
  • logistical support for the conceptualization, preparation and management of visitor programs, events, conferences and workshops

Job characteristics:

  • 30 hours per week
  • Internship grant
  • Financial Support for transports

Minimal Duration:
sixth months
